Invest Time Finding the Source of Your Acne

by Abbie Leave a Comment

Acne is no joke. In order to heal your acne for good, you must be “all in!” Often times it requires not only professional treatments and very specific home care, it must also include diet changes as well as looking at your environment, makeup, daily habits, supplements, medications, inflammation in the body, digestive/gut issues, as well as issues with other organs, and so much more!

We know the root cause of acne is toxins, but in order to determine the toxic sources you’re being exposed to, it takes some serious detective work. Candida, estrogenic, preservatives, pesticides, chlorine, plasticides, mucus build up, medications, food allergies, etc., etc., etc. Even “hormonal acne” is due to a much deeper root cause.

This client has been “all in” and although it’s taking some time, we’re finally getting some answers! Knowing the source of the acne means we can now make some serious progress. It’s very different for everyone, which is why working with both a holistic Esthetician and a naturalpath can make a world of difference.

I love what she says about her acne, “My body is so awesome! I’m so amazed at how my body finds ways to clear out toxins and to let me know that something is out of balance!”

Instead of resenting her acne and saying “my face hates me” she understands that her body is working so hard for her and doing the best that it can to find balance, health, and homeostasis.

Our bodies truly are amazing!

My Approach

My scientific approach revolves around identifying and addressing my client’s needs. Sometimes, the issues can be internal. Internal wellness plays a significant role in skin health. Many spas and product lines do not take a holistic approach in order to target internal balancing. With the right products in my skin arsenal, I am able to target several key skin needs: detoxing and repair, healing and nourishment, and balancing and protection. Rather than addressing skin issues externally, I take a corrective approach to your skincare combating and mitigating skin damage from the inside-out.
