Internal wellness is a huge focal point, because you’ve heard me say it once, and I’ll say it again: beautiful skin requires wellness within. So start your day by drinking a skin-brightening breakfast. I love this shake featured in The Daily Meal’s blog. If your skin is looking sallow and dull from the harsh winter, give this shake a shot. It’s packed with clean ingredients, vitamins and antioxidants that will kick start your skin back in gear!

Here is the recipe for The Daily Meal’s Skin-Brightening Shake:

Ingredients

1 teaspoon cacao nibs
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup coconut water
1 tablespoon almond butter
2 teaspoons flax seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup blueberries
½ cup pineapple
1 cup kale

Directions
