Fight Blemishes Naturally

by Abbie Leave a Comment

Fight blemishes in the most delectable way possible with the Honey Cinnamon Nutmeg facial. This facial is absolutely amazing for your skin. The primary ingredient is honey which is a natural moisturizing agent and natural antibacterial! It’s great for acne treatment and prevention.
The honey is paired with cinnamon, a natural antiseptic which will help reduce the bacteria on the surface of your skin to aid in the prevention of pimples and dry out existing pimples. Cinnamon also stimulates and revitalizes the skin by drawing blood, oxygen and nutrients to the surface of your skin, leaving your skin healthy and glowing.
A blend of nutmeg is added to exfoliate the skin, helping to reduce blemishes and minimize the look of existing blemishes. The nutmeg also helps reduce those pesky blackheads… (yuck!) Try not to lick your own face because this facial smells as divine as it sounds!

Another tasty facial to try is the Vitamin Pumpkin facial. Pumpkins go far beyond quaint Halloween decorations or a tantalizing pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving. This amazing fruit (yes, fruit!) is full of goodness for your skin.
Pumpkin contains enzymes that help to dissolve dry skin cells. It contains vitamin A, alpha and beta-carotenes, vitamins C, K, and E, and minerals, including magnesium, potassium, and iron. It’s loaded with benefits for the skin.

In particular, pumpkin is great for acne skin. Pumpkins contain zinc, which will help control the hormone level and oil production, as well as assist with healing of the skin. Zinc combats inflammation, reduces pore size, controls excess oil and prevents the appearance of pimples, blackheads and blemishes.
Beyond it’s preventative benefits, pumpkin is perfect for restoring damaged skin. The vitamin C and K in pumpkin help fade sun spots and age spots. It is a potent antioxidant—you know, those little skin soldiers I talk about constantly that combat age accelerating free radicals! Since the molecular structure of pumpkin is small, it can penetrate deeper into the skin when used topically. It works amazingly well for treating a dull complexion, aging skin and pigmentation.
To really get the most out of these palatable facials, top them off with Osmosis’ Polish which contains cranberry enzyme to mildly exfoliate and smooth the skin, giving you a healthy glow.

My Approach

My scientific approach revolves around identifying and addressing my client’s needs. Sometimes, the issues can be internal. Internal wellness plays a significant role in skin health. Many spas and product lines do not take a holistic approach in order to target internal balancing. With the right products in my skin arsenal, I am able to target several key skin needs: detoxing and repair, healing and nourishment, and balancing and protection. Rather than addressing skin issues externally, I take a corrective approach to your skincare combating and mitigating skin damage from the inside-out.
